The Department of Compliance and Risk Services has an outstanding opportunity for a Compliance Services Project Manager to join their team.

Compliance and Risk Services plans, organizes, and directs all University-wide compliance and risk management functions. Compliance Services, the unit in which the position resides, includes: o ADA/Section 504 Coordinator o Title IX Coordinator o Youth Protection Coordinator o Civil Rights Investigation Office o Hearing Office o Records Management Office

The Compliance Services Project Manager performs essential functions that advance the work of Compliance Services and in particular the goals and objectives of the Office of the Youth Protection Coordinator (OYPC) and the Office of the ADA/Section 504 Coordinator. The position reports to the Executive Director, Compliance Services, with day-to-day supervisory authority delegated to the Youth Protection Coordinator and ADA/Section 504 Coordinator.

The Compliance Services Project Manager's primary responsibilities include project management and other programmatic support for:

1) high-level program initiatives and meetings, including steering and other committees 2) data generation and unit and program reporting to stakeholders and senior and executive leaders across the enterprise 3) development of educational and communications resources 4) other specialized initiatives, strategic planning, or efforts developed or overseen by the Executive Director

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Project Management • Lead and manage new and ongoing initiatives, including creating detailed timelines, tracking deliverables, and coordinating stakeholder involvement • Oversee projects that support specific programs such as ADA and OYPC, as well as Compliance Services as a whole • Provide project management support in driving initiatives focused on optimizing youth protection compliance and mitigating risks, providing operational support for strategic priorities overseen by the ADA/Section 504 Coordinator, and tracking Compliance and Risk Services annual work plan goals • Support coordinators and directors who oversee or facilitate high-level initiatives and meetings, committees, and workgroups • Organize groups and events encompassing the ADA & Accessibility Steering Committee, ADA Advisory Groups, Youth Protection Advisory Committee, Quarterly Youth Protection Office convenings, and others • Lead activities that support committee, workgroup, and other convenings including: charter development, agenda formation, presentation development, registration/RSVP/scheduling logistics, compilation of materials, and note-taking

Resources, Reporting, and Data Materials • Coordinate Compliance Services data collection and reporting efforts, including data synthesis, formatting, branding, design, publishing, and communications • Reporting may include regular or periodic reporting as a part of ongoing, program-level data tracking or as a product of workgroup or committee deliverables • Develop and maintain dashboards, monthly, biannual, and annual reporting for OYPC and ADA offices from the CRS database and the Youth Program Registration System

Program Management • Provide direct operational support for the Executive Director, Compliance Services, and designated Compliance Services programs • Coordinate development and updating of OYPC educational content, including web content, required online educational courses, and educational presentations • Develop communications plans for OYPC and ADA offices for time-specific initiatives to ensure deliverables are met and stakeholder meetings and outreach is effective and timely

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS • Bachelor's degree and 3 years of project management experience • Equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills have been acquired may substitute for degree

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS • Proven analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills • Proficiency in the use of Zoom, Microsoft Office programs, databases, and related automated systems • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively and to establish positive working relationships • Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and organize work as needed, effectively manage competing priorities, and accurately complete highly detailed and time-sensitive work • Demonstrated experience in working on diverse groups and teams; respects, values, and contributes to CRS and UW’s commitment to diversity, inclusion, and equity

DESIRED: • Project Management experience in higher education, government, or other complex not-for-profit environments
