Blue Origin LLC Configuration and Data Management Analyst II - Engines in Seattle, Washington

This role is part of the Blue Origin Engines business unit, where our focus is the design, development, manufacturing, and testing of engines and propulsion systems. Built for multiple uses, our family of engines is powering the next generation of rockets for commercial, civil, national security, and human spaceflight. As part of a hardworking team of diverse specialists, technicians, and engineers, you will help improve effectiveness and overall product quality across the product lifecycle by driving activities related to Engines Configuration Management. Your ability to perform rapid and agile review and editing of many critical documents and engineering data will support Blue Origin's commitment to accurate and on-time delivery of important artifacts. Your enthusiasm to seek opportunities to continuously improve version control, consistency, and management of these items will be critical to our success.We are seeking an individual with excellent oral, written, interpersonal, and analytical skills who can thrive in a fast paced environment. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Work directly with engine product teams in providing timely configuration and data management services for all types of data Review proposed configuration changes to understand and assess effect on overall product and system Ensure configuration and data management rules are enforced and meeting customer requirements Support configuration change meetings to ensure risks and change impacts are well understood and documented Identify and implement system and process improvements as required to increase efficiency and quality Support in the establishment of a world-class Configuration Management structure and organization Minimum Qualifications 2+ years of product configuration management experience in a regulated environment Familiarity with product lifecycle management (PLM) and/or data management tools Strong attention to detail and organizational/coordination skills Proficient with Microsoft Office applications U.S. citizenship, national, or permanent resident (Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum Preferred Qualifications Aerospace industry experience Technical writing experience related to process and policy development Experience with tools such as Windchill, Creo, DOORS NextGen, Jama Connect, Confluence, and Jira Familiarity with Export Control regulations (EAR/ITAR) Compensation Range for: CA applicants is $76,320.00-$106,848.00;WA applicants is $76,320.00-$106,848.00 Other site ranges may differ Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis until the requisition is closed.
