Description

We are looking for a Controller to join our team in the manufacturing industry, based in Seattle, Washington. This role will focus on managing all aspects of our financial operations and will play a critical role in the financial planning, reporting, and control processes of our organization.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, adhering to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulatory requirements.

• Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and regulations.

• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.

• Establish and maintain internal control policies to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

• Conduct regular audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and identify areas for improvement.

• Manage cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs and strategic initiatives.

• Monitor banking activities, reconcile bank statements, and oversee cash disbursements and receipts.

• Analyze manufacturing costs and variances to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.

• Collaborate with production and procurement teams to optimize inventory management and control expenses.

• Provide strategic financial guidance to support business planning and decision-making.

• Evaluate investment opportunities and assess their financial viability and potential impact on the company's performance.

• Conduct financial analysis to evaluate business performance, identify trends, and forecast future financial outcomes.

• Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the finance department.

The salary range for this position is $130,000 to $150,000 + bonus.

Requirements • Proficient in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Familiarity with ERP Solutions

• Proficiency in Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Knowledge of Auditing procedures

• Experience in Financial Reporting

• Demonstrated Leadership Skills

• Ability for Financial Planning

• Experience in Budgeting

• Knowledge of Internal Control processes

• Understanding of Compliance requirements

• Skills in Cash Management

• Experience in Cost Management

• Proficiency in Financial Analysis

• Must have a background in the manufacturing industry

• Experience as a Controller in a manufacturing setting would be advantageous
