Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Controller in the manufacturing industry, based in Seattle, Washington, United States. The individual will be expected to perform a variety of tasks related to accounting and finance, with an emphasis on maintaining accurate financial records, conducting analysis, and implementing process improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards

• Conduct month-end and year-end financial procedures, ensuring timely completion and accurate reporting

• Engage in cost accounting activities, providing valuable insights into manufacturing costs and their impact on the company's financial health

• Conduct financial analysis, interpreting data, and providing recommendations for improvement

• Participate in audit processes, working with auditors to ensure accurate and timely completion

• Handle tax-related issues, ensuring the company's compliance with tax laws and regulations

• Implement process improvements, identifying areas of inefficiency and proposing strategic solutions

• Manage financial reporting activities, ensuring the provision of accurate and timely information to stakeholders

• Embrace a "no task too small" approach, demonstrating flexibility and willingness to take on a variety of tasks

• Maintain strong communication throughout the company, ensuring transparency and cooperation in financial matters

Skills:

• Proficiency in accounting functions

• Experience with auditing processes

• Understanding of budget processes

• Familiarity with the manufacturing industry

• Experience with month-end close procedures

• Ability to conduct financial analysis

• Experience with year-end closings

• Knowledge of cost accounting and manufacturing cost accounting

• Proficiency in financial reporting

• Familiarity with tax accounting

• Experience with process improvement.

The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $130,000 + bonus.
