Job summaryDo you have proven experience and passion leading high impact and strategic cross-company initiatives? Do you have experience driving an executive level customer and/or partner engagement and building and strategic programs to support executive engagement?At Amazon Corporate Business Development, we're looking for a leader to join our team whom will be responsible for supporting cross-Amazon partner engagements as part of Corporate Partnerships Team (CPT). This CPT leader will work closely with our relationship managers and directly with partners and have super-powers in partner/customer engagement, program strategy, project prioritization and execution, while delivering key program level results. S/he should be a self-starter that thrives in ambiguity, with the ability to influence cross-company, and the willingness to dive deep and operate in a dynamic environment, while earning trust with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate is someone with a demonstrated history of successfully owning and managing large, complex problems and engaging with cross-functional teams, and numerous stakeholders up to senior levels, directly and through influence. The right candidate will possess a strong customer experience, analytical mastermind and have a track record for developing a vision, defining a strategy, building programs and change management from the ground up.This role will be highly visible at the most senior levels of Amazon and offers a unique opportunity for candidates who want to define, design, build and operate programs and engagements which will have meaningful impact across AWS and various Amazon businesses.Ideal candidates will have business development and program management experience, have an entrepreneurial spirit, experience delivering programs and bringing them to scale, and a strong aptitude for diving deep and learning new things. Candidates should have a deep understanding of the growing role cloud computing plays in delivering business outcomes across all industry verticals and horizontal business units. The leader will bring a history of innovation, creativity and is analytical, technical and strategic thinker, has demonstrated that they can solve complex problems by creating efficiencies and process improvement and by working effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast paced setting that is constantly evolving.Key job responsibilities* Scoping and defining partner engagement strategies including communications, executive engagement, milestone planning and tracking, goal setting and governance.* Ability to dive deep into research data internally and externally to uncover opportunities for partner engagement with Amazon.* Building repeatable programs for our customers to work with and across our Amazon business units* Delivering quantifiable results demonstrating the success of these projects* Establishing mechanisms, tools, and processes that promote effective collaboration internally and externally with partners to achieve your vision and outcomes with an eye on earning trust and tight collaboration with senior leadership.A day in the lifeWorking closely with a CPT leader responsible for an industry and set of partners, define and deliver partner engagement strategy including communications, executive engagement, internal and external milestone and project tracking, goal setting and PM mechanisms.About the teamThe CPT team is focused on driving long term value for Amazon through holistic, strategic partnerships with industry leading companies with whom we have shared interests, cultural compatibility, and unique potential to create enduring value for customers.
