Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Analysis of new technologies
Partner with CHQ and GEO teams to implement secure solutions
Identify opportunities for improvement
Support risk-based security focus
Support strategic direction for security solutions
Collaborate and communicate effectively with Business stakeholders.

This position is on-site and will reside in the greater Seattle, WA. area at one of the following locations depending on availability. Candidates must be local or willing to relocate. Relocation assistance is not offered for this position.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Skilled in multiple functional domains.
Generate creative solutions to technical problems.
Network knowledge, including Firewalls (Layer 2-7), IDS/IPS, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and web application security in complex environments.
Experience supporting, deploying, and tuning Palo Alto
Experience supporting and deploying Unified Threat Management platform solutions.
Experience creating log repositories and reviewing logs from all systems.
Recognizes problems by identifying abnormalities in logs and activity.
Fluently translate complex technical information to/from non-technical audiences.
Constructive approach to problem solving and risk mitigation.
One or more scripting languages for task automation.
Upgrades systems by implementing and maintaining security controls.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Network security and/or cybersecurity foundations.
Familiarity with NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
Familiarity with OWASP.
Working knowledge of Secure Development Lifecycle best practice.
Experience supporting and deploying Check Point or Palo Alto firewall devices.
Knowledge and experience with F5 Big IP devices.
Experience in Network WAN administration including routing protocols; BGP, OSPF in multi-site networks.

Expected base salary: $130,000 to $175,000
