Mott MacDonald Group Digital Delivery Lead in Seattle, Washington

Mott MacDonald is looking for a Digital Delivery Lead Located in the Seattle are with a high level of experience in design for transportation and infrastructure projects. In this position you will be responsible for leading the Digital Delivery team on Infrastructure and transportation projects including digital strategy and implementation, Common Data Environment (CDE) setup and management, BIM management, standards compliance, output and coordination of the deliverables of major transportation projects. You will also be responsible in participating in corporate digital initiatives related to research and development as well as knowledge management. Alongside the overarching responsibility of the position, you'll be tasked with: * Working on the digital delivery strategy and implementation on major transportation projects * Interfacing with clients and internal teams of professionals from multiple disciplines, including planning, design, GIS, and BIM/CAD * Leading and supervising digital delivery on transportation projects. * Understanding and interpreting codes and specifications related to design requirements for transportation design projects. * Working collaboratively in a team environment to resolve design/drawing issues as appropriate and to accomplish objectives * Verifying accuracy and completeness of all deliverable BIM or CAD products and services in assigned areas of responsibility * Assisting in administration, training others on BIM or CAD systems and company standards * Identifying the needs and professional development for Information Management, BIM or CAD operators to ensure skills match project needs * Leadership skills needed to supervise and assist the technical work of less experienced designers and/or drafters who share in the design effort We're looking for someone to embody this ethos and welcome applications from BIM manager candidates with the following experience: * Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering or similar field * Minimum 10+ years' experience in BIM/design, preferably in transportation projects, other infrastructure experience will be considered * Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk ACC and AutoCAD Civil 3D experience * The ability and skill level to organize, delegate and oversee a team of designers and draftsman to complete a project from start to finish * Understand the scope and limits of responsibility between various engineering disciplines and project support groups * An advanced understanding of BIM authoring, coordination and management * Excellent communication skills across a diverse array of contractors, sub-consultants and colleagues All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, protected veteran status, creed, marital status, sexual orientation, citizenship status or disability status.
