Job Description:

As a Lab / Product Testing Engineer, candidate will engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary staff to test and develop testing procedures and methodologies. They will work closely with design engineers to define testing parameters and drive test execution.

Basic qualifications:

• Experience working in Hardware Reliability Testing, Environmental Testing, Aerospace Testing or related field to include HALT, Temperature/Humidity Testing, Temperature Cycling, Shock, Drop, Vibration, Salt Fog/Spray, UV Exposure etc.

• Experience using and debugging PowerShell scripts

• Experience in designing experiments to measure and collect test data using accelerometers, thermocouples, strain gauges etc.

• Understanding of basic electric/electronic theory including the ability to do basic wiring/cable installation and electric troubleshooting.

• Experience in the set up and use of electrical/electronic test equipment such as digital multi-meters, dataloggers, oscilloscopes, etc.

• Demonstrated ability to research and identify required specifications.

• Demonstrated ability to read schematics and circuit drawings.

• Experience in writing test reports

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Ability to work in a cross functional team and accommodate flexible loading

• Experience with Failure Analysis and sample preparation such as mechanical cross-sectioning.

• Experience in designing/developing automated testing systems.

• Proficiency in Office, LabVIEW, MATLAB, a scripting/programming environment (e.g. VBA, Python, C#, Perl), JMP, or Minitab
