Amazon Field Engagement Manager, WWFE - Strategy, Operations, & Shared Services in Seattle, Washington

We are looking for a Field Engagement Manager to join the Field Engagement Center of Excellence for AWS Worldwide Field Enablement (WWFE). This role will join a team of specialists who partner with AWS content creators, enablement leads, and communicators to plan and deliver relevant messages to the AWS global Field, enhancing customer engagements.

The ideal candidate is a professional who can operate in a high-velocity environment and deliver high-quality results. This role requires exceptional verbal and written communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work backwards from ambiguous requirements to generate clear, concise communications for our AWS Sales and Tech teams. The right candidate has email marketing experience, exceptional copywriting and editing skills for both original content as well as rewriting and optimizing content from subject matter experts. A successful candidate will demonstrate successful executive presence, project management skills, interpersonal skills, ability to influence others, and ability to work effectively across internal stakeholders.

Key job responsibilities

  • Proactively generate Field engagement momentum on enablement campaigns internally, driving dialogue and education with Field (sales) employees via AWS global and local enablement teams.

  • Build strategies to drive engagement and advocacy with executives by connecting programs to clear business results that tie to AWS growth strategies.

  • Test and execute email marketing campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, managing content within the tool, onboarding new team members, and being a liaison for support team.

  • Build strong working relationship across key stakeholder groups in sales, marketing, communications, and sales operations.

  • Standardize and scale engagement mechanisms globally, across all markets and segments.

  • Define metrics and establish tracking processes for campaign, including impact on business results of enablement campaigns.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of communications related experience.

  • 5+ years of experience managing content projects of medium or high complexity.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or other related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within a high-growth, technology company

  • Experience creating email campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (or similar digital marketing platform).

  • HTML/CSS proficient

  • Strong editorial background and exceptional proofreading

  • Demonstrated success building new business outcome-based content and communications targeting specific audiences for sales organization.

  • A natural team player with the desire to work with others for broader success.

  • Able to operate successfully in a rapidly changing, ambiguous and undefined environment.

  • Demonstrated experience building trust and influencing cross-functional teams and leaders.

  • Ability to conceptualize and execute projects, with strong bias for action and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

  • Customer obsession and passion for delivering with the highest standards.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $79,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $169,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
