As a Financial Analyst in this role, you will be at the forefront of driving our monthly business rhythm and managing key financial planning processes such as Monthly Close & Reporting, Annual Operating Plan, and Multi-Year Strategic Plan. We are looking for a proactive individual with strong financial acumen, advanced skills in bottom-up financial analyses, business intelligence, and data modeling, combined with a meticulous attention to detail. Passion for mission is required! Relocation is available. Responsibilities: Manage and drive monthly business rhythms and all key financial planning processes. Leverage systems such as Planful (our Financial Planning tool), Tableau, Excel applications, and Costpoint (Accounting system) to improve data modeling and reporting. Organize and prepare executive-level briefings, analyze variances against forecasts and budgets, and provide insights to help the team meet financial targets. Apply technical expertise and leadership skills to positively impact operations, including safe human spaceflight. Support investments, pricing, new business decisions, and make-buy decisions by performing detailed financial analyses. Engage in customer, supplier, and vertical integration strategies and negotiations. Assess strategic partnerships, mergers, and acquisitions. Lead special projects supporting management decision-making, such as capital expenditure and what-if analyses. Prepare project budgets and analyze financial data including funding profiles, sales forecasts, and expenditure profiles. Guide team members to meet business requirements and deadlines, fostering trust and contributing to an inclusive culture. Special Mentions: Relocation assistance provided. Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years' experience in financial analysis, including annual and multi-year planning, month-end close activities, forecasting, variance analysis, and ad-hoc financial reporting and modeling. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Exceptional written communication and presentation skills. Proven experience in helping business leaders achieve financial targets. Strong understanding of financial documents and performance measurement. Advanced Excel skills and capacity to present data for program, financial, and operations reviews. Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum Desired: MBA, or FP&A or Accounting experience. Experience with Deltek Costpoint. Experience in leading financial business cases. Compensation Range for: CO applicants is $73,177.50-$102,448.50;WA applicants is $79,830.00-$111,762.00 Other site ranges may differ Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis until the requisition is closed.
