Job Details: Job Summary: The Financial Services Analyst will perform assigned financial services duties and daily reconciliations for assigned projects. The incumbent will work within a team of and under general supervision to complete tasks required for daily project financial service operations. Incumbents of this position will regularly exercise discretionary and substantial decision-making authority. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Perform pay/collect, reconciliation, and settlement activities as allocated, ensuring timeliness and quality of deliverables and compliance with internal policies and procedures. Identify and troubleshoot reconciliation issues, provide analysis, aging information on exceptions until resolved, and streamline solutions. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting, with variance analysis, aging, and commentary for management review and for client submission. Comply with local tax regulations as required. Perform chargeback analysis, banking file analysis, third-party vendor reporting, patron refunds, and operator queries as assigned. Answer queries timely from internal departments, external customers, auditors, and third parties. Follow-up issues for resolution. Ensure general ledger balances and settlements comply with any relevant business rules, KPIs, delivery timelines, or conforming balance requirements. Ensure tasks adhere to all legal, regulatory, policy, and business requirements. Ensures data transfers between various system interfaces and third parties are accurate, meet documented controls, and are analyzed against expected trends and performance indicators. Escalate and resolve any problems. Identify system process improvement and assist with the development and testing of automation of reports where relevant. Liaise with different departments to maintain, develop, or streamline processes and resolve issues. Perform administration tasks as requested, including collating reports, transmitting financial services packages to clients, document control, archiving, and other ad hoc tasks. Essential: 2 years of accounting and reconciliation experience. Prior experience using financial systems. Demonstrated ability to reconcile large volumes of data. Demonstrated experience in deep-dive variance investigation and analysis. Advanced Excel skills. Personal Qualities: High levels of customer support and service delivery. Able to work well within a team and in a fast-paced environment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
