The AWS Migration Services group develops Migration solutions for any application or database from any source (physical, virtual, or cloud) to AWS Customers rely on our services to provide reliable migration solutions that simplify mobilizing entire workloads and environments to AWS.

We are looking for a Migration and Modernization Advisor with experience to help customers accelerate their migrations into AWS. The Migration Advisor will collaborate with the AWS Account Managers, CSMs, Professional Services and System Integrators to help the customer with this journey. The position requires a combination of sales and customer facing skills as well as project management skills and technical understanding .

Key job responsibilities

Create a hit list of accounts with large migrations forecasted and work with the Account Manager and other AWS team members to help the customer create a plan to accelerate migrations and execute it.

Coordinate and align with the AWS Account Manager, CSM and the AWS partner team.

Based on the plan made with the customer help Professional Services and the System Integrator execute and make sure that the migration plan is on time and on quality by managing the project closely

Identify migration blockers and why the migration is moving slow and find creative solutions with the help of the different AWS teams.

Identify and align with the customer executive team (VP and Director level)

Create Business Development programs to create opportunities for the group

Basic Qualifications

-5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience

-Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organization level

-Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Preferred Qualifications

-Experience developing, leading, negotiating and executing corporate and/or business transactions

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $126,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $239,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
