As a pro shared services analyst sr, you will support various workstreams across the employee lifecycle, such as the CUP Fund (employee relief fund) program, unemployment insurance claim processing (offboarding) and rehire eligibility determinations (onboarding).

As a pro shared services analyst sr, you will…

  • Provide empathy to partners in dire circumstances while following CUP Fund guidelines and procedures.

  • Research, analyze, and investigate partner separations in consultation with Partner Resources, and other departments in order to respond to Unemployment Insurance claims and make Rehire Eligibility determinations.

  • Protect tax ad liability through researching drafting and communication the company response to state unemployment claims within strict deadlines.

  • Work cross functionally and collaboratively with peers.

  • Navigate ambiguity including changing priorities/processes and managing multiple priorities with deadlines

  • Provide coaching and guidance to Starbucks leaders on the interpretation of Starbucks unemployment insurance, rehire eligibility and CUP Fund policies and procedures.

  • Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements.

  • Investigate and develop solutions to procedure and process-related issues. Work cross-functionally to promptly resolve operations issues, escalate partner concerns, and respond in a professional and timely manner.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy including handling sensitive information.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years working in customer service, contact center, human resources, or shared services environment

  • 3+ years’ experience researching, analyzing and problem solving in a fast-paced environment

  • 1+ year experience identifying continuous improvement opportunities

  • Communicates clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing

  • Experiencing handling and securing confidential and sensitive information

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint

  • 4 year degree preferred

*If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
