What You'll be Doing...
- Lead and manage HR projects such as job analysis, performance management, and compensation design.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop strategies that support organizational goals and employee engagement.
- Research workforce trends, analyze data, and prepare reports to guide decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and maintain accurate HR documentation.
- Assist in creating and implementing training and development programs.
- Provide HR consultation and support to Museum leaders, fostering a positive workplace culture.
Here's what your work history needs to show as evidence that you're the right candidate...
- 8+ years of HR experience, including compliance and training development.
- Demonstrated proficiency in HRIS systems, analytics, and reporting tools.
- Expertise in employment laws, benefits administration, and performance management.
- Advanced project management and analytical skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and meet competing deadlines.
- Ability to handle sensitive matters with confidentiality and diplomacy.

Here's the important details:
- Location: South Seattle. Onsite attendance required for key responsibilities. Local travel may be required.
- Schedule: Monday to Thursday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Compliance: You must be able to pass a criminal background check.
Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in HR or related field (or equivalent experience), PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification (preferred but not mandatory).
