Overview Locana, a TRC company, is looking for a senior-level Solutions Engineer to work within the IGS products team. Demand for the Lemur mobile mapping product from Locana has brought about the need for a talented GIS professional to lead the pre-sales effort and help new customers find success in their field work management programs. This SE role will be primarily focused on pre-sales demo development and delivery when Lemur is sold in conjunction with Salesforce and the Salesforce Field Service field work management application. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with industry leading technology companies like Salesforce, Esri, and others to help deliver industry leading integrated enterprise GIS solutions. The ideal candidate will bring excellent problem-solving abilities, customer service skills, thorough knowledge of Esri technology and GIS-based mobile and web applications, and be comfortable evaluating tools and defining processes that ensure the best possible customer experience with Lemur and our partner products. This position can work from most locations in the US and will travel periodically to work with customers, partners, and the TRC Locana customer success, product development, sales, marketing, and implementation teams. Responsibilities Be the GIS expert on joint sales teams promoting joint GIS and work management solutions to top-tier customers. Communicate and coordinate with TRC Locana and Salesforce teams and individuals on potential and current sales opportunities. Work as part of a team to transition customers from sales cycle to implementation by advising the sales teams, customer, project, and lemur implementation teams on customer requirements and landscape. Provide GIS-focused insight and knowledge to joint sales teams and customers to help align the overall technical solution strategy with the needs of the customer. Build and host compelling industry demos for the TRC Locana Lemur product. Administer and maintain Salesforce demonstration organizations for TRC Locana. Deliver customer focused technical demonstrations as a part of a larger business development team that could also include one or more partner groups. Assist in maintaining and administering Esri enterprise systems where relevant data (sample Esri datasets, etc.) can be hosted for use in building and presenting technical demonstrations and prototypes. Work with the Salesforce partner manager to help deepen the partnership through marketing, trade shows, and communications. Work with the Lemur development team to chart the future course of technical Salesforce integration. Help identify and isolate technical and software issues and generally coordinate with the customer success, implementation, and software development teams to ensure issue resolu
