The Marketing Specialist supports the Marketing Team's objectives of increasing Point B brand awareness, driving existing and new customer engagement across multiple channels, and generating sales leads. They wear multiple hats and grow their skills in a broad range of business-to-business marketing activities. While the primary focus of this role is execution, there is ample opportunity to contribute to strategy and innovation. WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO: Writes concise and compelling content with a consistent "on-brand" voice in support of growth marketing and brand storytelling campaigns Supports the Senior Content Strategist with brand content creation for awards (written submissions and data gathering), public relations, company news, etc. Manages organic social media presence (social media monitoring, measurement, and content posting) ensuring quality content, balanced promotion of thought leadership, regular cadence, visual and written brand consistency, and routine metric performance analysis Supports execution of executive communications strategy on social channels Supports the Senior Content Strategist with the development and execution of editorial calendar for careers, recruiting, and other related people team content Support lead flow by promotion campaigns across organic channels Encourage firmwide application of social media content and best practices to support lead flow opportunities Create resources and lead training around personal brand building and firmwide social media guidelines Monitors employee sentiment across platforms such as Glassdoor and Fishbowl for reviews and escalates and reports as necessary Writes and tests social media posts with calls-to-action; creates compelling imagery to support written content Edits content created by others, providing a quality check for spelling, grammar, and tone Conducts competitive marketing activity research, including social media metrics Supports team efforts and builds authentic relationships with individuals in work groups and teams Consistently demonstrates and lives Point B values Participates in firm culture activities to connect regularly with other Point B'ers WHAT WE EXPECT YOU'VE ALREADY DONE: B.A. or B.S. degree 2-5 years marketing experience; business-to-business preferred Experience using contact management tools and social media tools Experience with common office productivity tools, such as Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Excel Ability to move quickly to meet deadlines and adapt to shifting priorities. Good collaboration skills. Ability to work around obstacles while maintaining a positive attitude. Ability to come up with creative solutions and try new ways of doing things. Strong customer-service ethic and ability to serve multiple internal customers.
