Ericsson Inc Packet Core Solution Integrator Intern in Seattle, Washington

Join our Team Location: Seattle, Washington Packet Core Solution Integrator Intern About this opportunity: As a Packet Core Integrator Intern, you'll be responsible for the implementation, integration and testing of EPC (Evolved Packet Core) in internal and external environments. You will be ensuring that the deliveries of solutions to customers are made in a professional way. The Solution Integrator will collaborate with PDUs and other domain technical guides during the project execution. We are currently recruiting Packet Core Integrator Intern who possess and can demonstrate leadership and drive, as well as initiative and a deeply rooted sense of responsibility and accountability. Location must be in Seattle to potentially visit customer sites in the area. What you will do: * Plan the software product deployment and integration work. * Implement software installation, configuration, integration and migration work. * Prepare, document, and complete module test, end-to-end test, and acceptance test. * Troubleshoot, identify defects, fix or seek resolution. * Do occasional scripting & coding. * Work in Ericsson lab, customer lab, and customer production environment. * Identify and drive product or process improvements. * Work in a team environment with excellent collaboration and support. The skills you bring: * Be registered to a US University in a Bachelor, Master or PhD program * Technical approach * Understanding of Mobile Telecom (Packet Core both for 4G and 5G) * Understanding of OpenStack, Networking and Virtualization * Virtualization Technologies (i.e. KVM, SR-IOV, DPDK, vmWare, Kubernetes) * Understand Network function virtualization architecture and integration points. * Have experience in Linux OS installation, administration, and scripting. * You have an innovative and creative spirit and are willing to do things differently. * Strategic mind, with ability to span into tactical as needed. * Develop technical presentations & proposals & perform customer presentations. * Support deployment of solution and work in a DevOps environment * Experience in crafting test automations. The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
