Position Part Time Retail Sales Associate

Description

Location: Seattle & Des Moines Position: Part-Time

Salary: $19.97 an hour

About this role

Assists in the daily operations of the Outdoor Research Seattle and Des Moines Store and upholds the Outdoor Research brand identity and culture.

What you will do

  • A commitment to provide Outdoor Research Legendary customer service

  • Greeting and thanking customers in a helpful, positive, manner throughout the purchasing and decision process

  • Ring up sales

  • Loss prevention

  • Weekly inventory counts

  • Other duties as assigned by the Store Manager and/or Assistant Manager

    Position Requirements

What you should bring to the table

  • Participation in one or more of OR core sports preferred

  • Knowledge of and/or intermediate to advanced experience with various outdoor gear and equipment, Outdoor Research products preferable.

  • Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) and point of sale systems

  • Previous customer service experiences preferred

  • Excellent communication & customer relationship skills

  • Self-managed and motivated for sales success

  • Approachability, yet also able and eager to initiate customer interaction

  • Ability to meet schedule and attendance requirements
