Amazon Principal Product Manager - Tech in Seattle, Washington

Key job responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Principal Product Manager - Technical to support our tech product development of JP born marketing product suites and serve global customers. You will manage E2E product roadmap, develop requirements and technical solution for innovative technologies that align our globalization strategy. As a successful candidate, you will have experience deep diving new business areas (range from CX, marketing, and accounting), solving technical challenges, and influencing key partner teams to drive initiatives to completion. You have a strong bias toward data driven decision making, tech driven solution designing and an innate ability to understand how metrics relate to business problems and to each other. You have the ability to communicate priorities and work effectively with JP and WW stakeholders, including teams across software engineering, product management, accounting, finance, and retail businesses. You should be comfortable with an extremely high degree of ambiguity, can work across a wide cross section of stakeholders, and relish the idea of solving challenging problems. You will tackle novel, situations every day and given the size of this initiative, you’ll have the opportunity to work with Amazon teams around the globe.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience technical product management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements

  • Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
