We will accomplish this by accelerating our customers’ businesses through delivery of

intuitive and differentiated technology solutions that solve enduring business challenges. We blend vision with curiosity and Amazon’s real-world experience to

build opinionated, turnkey solutions. Where customers prefer to buy over build, we become their trusted partner with solutions that are no-brainers to buy and easy to

use.

We are seeking an experienced and innovative AWS Solutions Architect to help customers design and implement AI-powered workflows for biomolecule design. In this role, you will partner with life sciences organizations to architect scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions on AWS that accelerate drug discovery and development. You will leverage AWS’s suite of AI and machine learning services, along with industry-specific tools, to enable customers to build, deploy, and optimize workflows for the design, analysis, and validation of biomolecules, such as proteins, enzymes, and antibodies.

As a key technical advisor, you will guide customers through the process of building cloud-native architectures that integrate AI/ML models with complex biological datasets. You will work closely with data scientists, computational biologists, and bioinformaticians to ensure the solutions meet both scientific and business objectives. Your role will also involve collaborating with internal AWS teams to refine and evolve best practices, ensuring the seamless adoption of AI-powered solutions in the field of biomolecule design.

Key job responsibilities

  • Design and implement cloud architectures that provide state of the art AI-driven biomolecule design workflows and results.

  • Collaborate with life sciences customers to understand their specific challenges and tailor AWS solutions to their needs.

  • Integrate AWS services for life sciences, such as AWS HealthOmics and Amazon SageMaker, with bioinformatics and biomolecule design tools and models.

  • Provide technical guidance on security, scalability, and cost optimization for cloud solutions.

  • Work closely with cross-functional AWS teams to support customer success and drive the adoption of AI-powered workflows in the life sciences.

  • Stay current with industry trends in bioinformatics, computational biology, and AI, applying the latest innovations to customer projects.

A day in the life

You will work closely with AWS customers and with AWS service teams to make AI driven drug design an everyday reality. You will spend time at customer sites, brainstorming and problem solving with their engineers.

You will also work with AWS Service and Solutions teams on features, services, and products not yet released. Shaping their definition, and helping those teams build the best products for their customers.

You'll have a high ownership, and high innovation role. You'll help customers and AWS teams find the right way to use the power of AWS to design better drugs.
