PitchBook is looking for a Private Capital Market Research Summer Intern to assist the PitchBook Institutional Research Group in researching and publishing new products for the venture capital and private equity markets. This internship will give hands on private market investment research and analysis experience through the exploration of the private capital markets within the context of PitchBook data. At the end of the process, you will have an understanding of how best to generate insightful analysis from data within the framework of macroeconomic moments, unique market ecosystems, and investor-specific investment strategies. Our Summer Internship is full-time, 10-week program (40 hours per week) running from June 16th - August 22nd 2025 (specific dates vary by office location). Please note, at this time PitchBook does not provide relocation assistance for our internships. Primary Job Responsibilities: Assist team with research and analysis covering alternative investments with an emphasis on private equity and venture capital Utilize proprietary PitchBook data, the internet, newspapers, academic white papers, public and private company research notes, and economic indicator forecasts to inform and develop actionable analysis Work closely with team to develop frameworks for new research products Connect with investors and relevant market participants to add valuable insights to analysis Support the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviors Participate in various company initiatives and projects as requested Required Qualifications: Currently enrolled as a junior in a higher education program (college or university): Business, Economics, Finance, and related majors preferred To be considered for the intern position, applicant must be legally authorized to
