Amazon Program Manager - Planning, Amazon Fresh in Seattle, Washington

Amazon Fresh is seeking a Program Manager with a strong marketing background to join the Central Marketing team to operationalize and coordinate go-to-market initiatives across the Omni-channel grocery organization. In this role you will own driving the omni-channel marketing intake, as well as the prioritization, and execution, of creative and marketing initiatives across the Fresh Marketing organization. This role centers on aligning project goals with business objectives, ensuring seamless coordination between cross-functional teams and external agencies. You will play a vital role to the success of the team ensuring deliverables are on-time while identifying process improvement opportunities along the way.

Cross-functional communication and the ability to thrive in ambiguity must be a strength as you will work closely with multiple teams across the business including marketing, design, category management, operations, and tech. You will be responsible for setting the direction of your programs, and ensuring adoption and successful implementation of your process at every stage.

Key job responsibilities

• Omni-Channel Marketing Calendar & Intake Management: This role is the owner of the strategic initiative calendar across Omni-Channel Amazon Fresh. They define and implement the intake process for marketing initiatives and creative resource allocation across departments to ensure aligned prioritization across the organization.

• Cross-Functional Project Prioritization: This role operationalizes a framework to evaluate and prioritize projects against their estimated business impact potential and expected outcomes. They collaborate with marketing leads to align on the level of marketing support to allocate to an initiative based on it's strategic alignment with overall business priorities by owning regular reviews to assess new requests vs existing priorities.

• Enhanced Project Visibility: This role defines and executes mechanisms and reports that provide high-level project status updates across internal customers, enabling stakeholders to track progress and identify bottlenecks. This role drives scale by onboarding teams and agencies to utilize project management tools for comprehensive tracking and resource management.

• Process Scaling & Automation: This role will work with Analytics, Channel, and offshore teams to scale successful intake and reporting processes through a combination of simplification, outsourcing, and automation. They hold the high bar for simplification and are vocal in identifying operational inefficiencies.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience

  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience

  • Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization

  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience

  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
