The schedule is negotiable as long as it is fixed. General Statement of Duties The Quality Improvement Data Specialist is responsible for gathering, synthesizing and reporting data. Additionally, this position monitors relevant information sources to anticipate and operationalize needed changes to departmental and organizational workflows as regulatory requirements and information needs change. This position supports identification and maintenance of quality efforts for clinical operations to meet regulatory requirements and accomplish business objectives, including value/performance-based revenue goals. Essential Position Functions Data Management and Reporting Perform data collection, synthesizing and reporting as required for payers and other programs including Medicare and Medicaid; identify gaps and coordinate with providers. Generate routine and ad hoc reports across the organization. Liaise with commercial and government agencies responsible for the development of quality metrics; assist with problem solving and recommendations. Suggest and contribute to new workflows to improve clinical and support staff understanding, partnership, and engagement with quality measures. Coordinate the implementation of workflows that support documentation requirements necessary to meet quality measures. Track measurable performance thresholds for quality indicators to evaluate workflow effectiveness and to determine the infrastructure required to support quality standard needs; provide input toward improvements.
