$10,000 Signing Bonus to eligible new employees joining UW Medicine Harborview Medical Center’s (HMC) Two West Low Barrier Clinics has an outstanding opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team.

WORK SCHEDULE: • Full-time, 100% FTE • Day Shift 0730-1600

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION: Harborview’s Low Barrier Clinics include Engage Health – Kent and Engage Health – Federal Way and are both located within homeless day centers. These clinics serve vulnerable homeless patient populations. The primary location will be Kent.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: • Provide safe and therapeutic care and coordination of services throughout the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation. • Systematically assess the need for and the delivery of nursing services that meet patient care requirements, whether delivered directly or by the other nursing staff. • Patient Care Coordination. • Provide care for individual patients or defined patient populations over the telephone using the nursing process. • Perform all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical / healthcare errors. • Assume responsibility for continued professional growth and sharing expertise with other team members.

REQUIREMENTS: • Washington State or Multi-State RN license required by start date. • Two years of RN nursing experience and familiar working with people who are homeless. • Commitment to ensuring equity, inclusion and diversity in healthcare delivery, team support and process improvement initiatives.
