The Senior Accounting Manager will manage the accounting activities of the department such as financial reporting, AP, AR, budget preparations, payroll and other accounting related duties

as necessary.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING :

• Establish internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and budget preparation.

• Oversee preparation of business activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets.

• Oversee the production of periodic financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or financial reporting standards.

• Responsible for tax planning throughout the fiscal year; files annual corporate tax returns.

• Audit accounts to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations; coordinates with outside auditors and provides needed information for the annual external audit.

• Presents recommendations to management on short- and long-term financial objectives and policies.

• Provides financial analysis with an emphasis on capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations.

• Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR :

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration.

• Accounting experience within manufacturing, a plus.

• CPA preferred.

• 8 years or more of related experience required.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Proficient in accounting and tax preparation software.

• Public accounting experience.

• Start-up experience.

The annual base salary range for this position is $125,000 - $165,000. All positions come with a bonus plan and company stock options. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the position is located.

Base Pay Range

$125,000-$165,000USD
