Workday is searching for an individual with a passion for market and competitive research to join our world-class team as a Senior Competitive Intelligence analyst.

 

About the Role

 

At Workday, we are committed to delivering outstanding results and our Competitor Intelligence team plays a strategic role in providing competitive insights to Workday's leadership team. As a Competitor Intelligence Analyst, you will develop competitive intelligence research and provide unique competitive insights to senior leadership. Also, you will also participate in strategic cross-functional projects. This is an outstanding opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your insights will directly contribute to our success. Responsibilities: • Research and analyze competitors which includes understanding their product offerings, evaluating their financial performance, and understanding their sales and go to market strategies

• Develop and deliver competitive insights to leadership • Collaborate with the Corporate Strategy team on critical initiatives

• Gather intelligence that will improve Workday's competitive position

• Develop strong cross-functional relationships across the organization.

 

About You

 

Basic Qualifications: • 4+ years of SaaS market research and analysis experience

 

Other Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Solid understanding of the enterprise software applications landscape

• Strong business sense with the ability to use existing experience and research to be credible across a wide range of industries • "Get it done" mentality - willingness to roll up your sleeves in a fast-paced environment • Meticulous and capable of effectively balancing multiple projects at once

• Drive and desire to take on additional responsibilities over time in a high growth environment

• Willingness to travel domestically (less than 20%)

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Industry experience is a plus in relevant Workday industries e.g. Financial Services or Professional and Business Services
