Carnival Cruise Line Senior Integrated Marketing Specialist - Remote in Seattle, Washington

We’re looking for an amazing Senior Specialist, Integrated Marketing to fill this remote role which reports to our Seattle, WA headquarters. You’ll play a critical role executing all aspects of Holland America’s Alaska Marketing & Sales Events, including the management of a seasonal travelling sales program: Onstage Alaska. You’ll be responsible for overseeing seasonal presenters, facilitating virtual events, leading communication with Sales teams, scheduling events and reporting on success metrics. You’ll also assist the Integrated Marketing team with various events and activations on an as-needed basis. Responsibilities

  • Execute all aspects of Alaska Marketing & Sales Events, including management of a seasonal travelling sales program - Onstage Alaska

  • Assess effectiveness of events and ensure the attainment of performance targets.

  • Communicate and is first point of contact for presenters, exhibitors, host agencies, and Business Development Teams.

  • Produce and maintain show schedules.

  • Develop and maintain analytical tools to measure the ongoing success of Alaska Marketing & Sales Events.

  • Maintain all elements of Alaska Marketing & Sales Events presentations and their educational, promotional, and follow up materials. Continuously look for opportunities to maintain the relevance and efficacy of Alaska Marketing & Sales Events and continually take them to the next level of success.

  • Facilitate and present all Virtual Onstage Alaska events.

  • Assist with executing various destination events and activations.

  • Support project management and asset trafficking on an as-needed basis.

  • Assist the Sr. Manager, Integrated Marketing to recruit, interview and hire all event presenters (approximately 10 FTE seasonal team members). Develop training program for team members in accordance with program needs and company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Event and Program Management, Community Planning, Sales and Advertising.

  • Minimum 2 years demonstrated consumer event management.

  • Minimum 2 years cruise/travel industry experience.

  • 3+ years demonstrated consumer event management preferred.

  • 3+ years cruise/travel industry experience preferred.

  • Innovative thinker with proven record of project/program success.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage several projects simultaneously and meet concurrent deadlines.

  • Proven ability to assemble and enact complex event productions and manage remote team schedules.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Strong knowledge of company products, travel industry and destinations preferred.

  • Strong demonstrated logistical event coordination skills.

  • Strong demonstrated analytical, reporting, and presentation skills.

  • Proven ability to work with a variety of personalities under varying degrees of stress

  • Proven ability to motivate team members to achieve desired results.

  • Demonstrated success in motivating and supporting remote team members toward common goals.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Holland America is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-1B status).

  • Base Salary Range: $67,800.00-$91,500.00. The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and experience uniquely.
