Amazon Senior Product Manager - Tech, Amazon Scaling Products, Innovation, and Recruiting Efficiency (ASPIRE) in Seattle, Washington

We are looking for a Senior PMT to drive the development of new products that enable recruiters to work at scale across amazon.jobs and our internal hiring experience. Our products help recruiters quickly identify candidates and move them through our interview process, as well as simplify communications between recruiters and candidates.

You will leverage your deep product management expertise to work backwards from customer scenarios, to identify the right product opportunities, plan experiments, and define and execute the product roadmap with cross-organizational engineering and UX teams for customers enterprise-wide.

Key job responsibilities

As a product leaders, you will work on developing the product strategy and vision for new product experiences, improving existing customer experiences, outlining business requirements for scalable solutions, overseeing the implementation, launch, and post-launch product performance. You will work closely across People eXperience and Technology, enterprise-wide lines of businesses, software and data engineering, UX research and design, marketing, and partner teams to foster alignment and solve challenging problems. You will be the product leader providing product visibility and strategic recommendations to your stakeholders.

As a Senior PMT, you will operate in a complex and ambiguous space with a high degree of autonomy. You will lead your product space from ideation and customer engagement through development, implementation, launch, and scaling. You will work in a diverse team that spans disciplines, cultural backgrounds, and geographic regions.

About the team

Amazon Scaling Products, Innovation, and Recruiter Efficiency (ASPIRE) optimizes recruiting activities that deliver bar-raising candidates to Amazon hiring managers fast and cost-effectively. We do this through products that increase efficiency across hiring demand, attraction, and in the recruiting funnel. Wherever possible, we use data science decisioning and automated activities to attract and nurture prospective candidates to Amazon, guide candidates that visit the amazon.jobs career site to the right job, and enable recruiters to focus on high-value interactions with candidates.

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years of end to end product delivery experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 3+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience bridging technical and business teams to collect and refine requirements, prioritize incoming work requests, and ensure all committed work is delivered on time

  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

  • Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree

  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

  • Experience in an operational environment developing, fast-prototyping, piloting and launching analytic products

  • Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
