Amazon Senior Product Manager in Seattle, Washington

As a Sr. Product Manager in Worldwide Capacity Planning (WWCP), you will drive product strategy to deliver state-of-the-art solutions that influence a wide range of decisions within Amazon, spanning across demand forecasting, capacity planning, and beyond.

You will establish product vision and key priorities, clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to internal cross-functional and remote project teams, anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, and make appropriate trade-offs to balance business needs versus technical constraints.

This is a highly strategic role, with goals that directly impact the bottom line of the business.

A day in the life

You will work closely with senior leaders across cross-functional stakeholder teams within Amazon to drive collaboration and influence them to prioritize projects, meet objects and adhere to business plans towards shared objectives.

About the team

The Worldwide Capacity Planning (WWCP) organization owns the end-to-end workforce planning and execution of Amazon's customer service network. Our forecasting, labor planning, scheduling, and real-time management solutions are responsible for the millions of daily decisions needed to provide efficient and frustration-free support to our customers around the world. We are looking for a seasoned leader to drive continued innovation at scale.

WWCP crafts a comprehensive workforce management plan by strategically analyzing historical data and anticipating potential business events to accurately predicts the number of required associates for the specified period.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • 5 years of Product Management experience

Preferred Qualifications

- - Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights

- - Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
