Arcadis is seeking a Senior Scheduler to join our our Places infrastructure team. This position is located on client site in Bellingham, WA. Role description: The Senior Scheduler is responsible for all aspects of standard scheduling functions, including but not limited to, schedule development, maintenance, progressing, reporting, benchmarking and interactions with the multiple Client Teams. Role accountabilities:

  • Develop and maintain appropriate and accurate schedules to support efficient execution of work, cashflows and cost forecasts.
  • Provide comprehensive and accurate schedule reports utilizing data from Cilent systems
  • Support construction activities in the field.
  • Closely monitor performance against realistic targets to ensure that objectives and KPI's are met.
  • Implement appropriate levels of field quantity & schedule analysis to validate contractor field progress.
  • Identify, analyze, and respond to project opportunities, risks, and uncertainties.
  • Review contractors' schedules for accuracy.
  • Facilitate interactive planning sessions, integrated scheduling sessions, etc.
  • Ensure compliance with Client Guidelines
  • Encourage multi-discipline teamwork.
  • Support team with stage gated process.
  • Manage assigned scheduling resources.
  • Work with site resources to complete all closeout requirements, including lessons learned exercises.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Evaluate critical and near critical path activities.
  • Support ad hoc requests.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum of 7 years scheduling experience
  • Minimum of 1 years relevant experience within Refining Industry
  • Primavera software experience
  • Experience working with subject matter experts in order to facilitate and produce detailed engineering schedules and interface those engineering activities with procurement and construction activities.
  • Prior experience with critical path scheduling.
  • Requires understanding of work breakdown structure, critical path analyses, bar charts, and task sequencing techniques.
  • Understands and knows the impact of the Planning, Procurement and Field Execution processes.
  • Understanding of cost control and scheduling terminology and techniques.
