First Mode is seeking aSenior Strategic Finance Analyst II. Position Responsibilities Oversee the close of month end, including the involvement in the preparation of monthly data reporting packages that includes analysis of key KPIs and actual versus plan variances and the production of a comprehensive explanations of differences as well as the impact of drivers on budget/forecast Development of forecasting models and lead and evolve the planning/budgeting cycle, which is flexible and responsive to ongoing changes Developing and owning the 5-year financial plan and supporting projects that drive First Mode's financial strategy Advising on key cost drivers to leadership and finance business partners (FBP) Conducting analysis and variances to prior periods, which includes owning the developing of recommendations for leadership and FBP Reviewing quarterly performance analytics and reports before presenting to leadership Running simulations of various "what-if" scenarios using insight and critical thinking to evaluate and recommend solutions Produce routine and ad hoc financial models to support leadership and FBP in decision making Enhance data governance processes by improving the quality and integrity of data collected, analysis performed, and reports generated Facilitate standardisation and sharing of best practice and contribute to continuous improvement of systems and processes Deliver and continuously improve the way we monitor and report performance working closely with colleagues across the organisation to meet the reporting needs Support in the preparation of board material and meeting our shareholder reporting requirements Basic Qualifications At least 6+ years of experience at a strategic or corporate level in performance monitoring and reporting, strategic and business planning and supporting organisational change A proven track record of building relationships influencing decisions across levels and functions of an organisation Ability to interpret, disseminate and present information to a variety of internal and external audiences in a way that informs and influences their decision making Experience of establishing and developing performance monitoring tools and reports for different audiences Strong analytical and organisational skills including the ability to balance and independently manage workload that includes multiple concurrent priorities Ability to coordinate multiple, often demanding deadlines and multiple priorities Additional Requirements Comfortable with business travel to various local and global destinations Location This position will be located at First Mode's headquarters in Seattle, WA and will be required to work in office >60% of working hours Total Rewards Base Salary Range: $117,700 - $ 148,500 Benefits & Perks Annual bonus incentive Equity-based awards 100% employer-paid health insurance (medical, dental, vision) 401(k) retirement account with a 3% employer contribution from the start of employment Flexible PTO with 12 weeks of supplementary paid parental leave Commuter benefits (parking & public transportation) A culture that encourages professional growth with learning and development reimbursements Open and collaborative workspace with free office snacks and lunches Hybrid work model #LI-Hybrid First Mode is an Equal Opportunity Employer; employment with First Mode is governed on the basis of merit, competence, and qualifications and will not be influenced in any manner
