Does that sound like you? The Opportunity with McKinstry We are looking for a traveling Site Superintendent to be a part of our growing Energy division. The Superintendent will ensure project success through on-site management of subcontractors and maintenance of client relationships. Additionally, some responsibilities you will have include: Developing and updating project schedules. Approving daily work tickets. Reviewing submittals. Setting up and tearing down job site logistics. Coordination of work with trades, subcontractors and vendors. Writing and reviewing scopes of work. Assisting Project Manager with bid procurement. Managing and closing out punch list activities in a timely manner. Communication with field personnel. Develop and maintain logs and reports as required for project execution. Maintain daily logs of work performed by McKinstry and subcontractors onsite. Develop RFIs as required to document changes to the scope of work. What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry Commercial General Contractor experience required. OSHA 30 certification required or must be obtained within 6 months of assuming position. Working knowledge of scheduling software: Microsoft Project, Primavera and/or Suretrak required. Knowledge of construction management, commercial building process, and OSHA standards required. Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Project required; working knowledge of SharePoint preferred. Four (4) years of leadership of trades and job sites preferred. BA/BS degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architecture or Facilities Management or equivalent work experience preferred. The pay range for this position is $84,060 - $129,580 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay information is based on market location. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
