Zillow, Inc. is seeking a Software Development Engineer, Big Data for its Seattle, WA office.

Job Duties: Architect, build and maintain scalable data products and deliver pipelines built for speed, accuracy, and consistency that will scale as our needs and those of our users grow. Build systems to link raw data and concrete economic insights. Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability and performance, etc. Work with multiple teams -- including our Data Science, Forecasting, Engineering, and Property Data teams -- to efficiently source Zillow's proprietary datasets in the creation of industry-leading housing metrics and forecasts. Translate requirements to development plans and effectively execute on goals. Telecommuting permitted.

Minimum Requirements: Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. One year of experience in: Spark; Airflow; building and optimizing data pipelines; Hadoop; and AWS Cloud.
