Position Summary:

Looking for strong developer to support ongoing maintenance and new development activity. Daily activities include coding, testing, participating in design review and release activities.

This Developer role to work side by side with a feature lead and peers to ensure expected quality software is built to serve our customers and clients. They will be responsible for understanding the business requirements, Build/enhance application components to support the requirement, enabling testing organization to certify the application, Support technology infrastructure team in production deployment and transitioning to support team. The Developer is expected to learn the business and technical components of an application and work with their peers to follow enterprise software development methodologies. Job Description:

This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, and solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset. Job expectations include a strong knowledge of development and testing practices common to the industry and design and architectural patterns.

Responsibilities:

  • Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements

  • Designs, develops, and modifies architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained

  • Mentors other software engineers and coach team on Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) practices and automating tool stack

  • Executes story refinement, definition of requirements, and estimating work necessary to realize a story through the delivery lifecycle

  • Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas

  • Automates manual release activities

  • Designs, develops, and maintains automated test suites (integration, regression, performance)

Required Qualifications:

  • Datastage and Cobol Mainframe as well as ODM and Java , ODM, Javaprogrammer with strong analytical and design skills.

  • Must be able to work independently and deliver high quality results.

  • Will be responsible for application design, development, code reviews, writing and maintaining programming documentation, project coordination, and deployment support.

  • Must have 10+ years of experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Datastage, Cobol, DB2, Stored Procedures, BMC and IBM utilities, CICS, JCL, Procs, MQ, Sola, Data Services, ODM, Java and interfaces with multiple online platforms knowledge.

Pay range

$100,700.00 - $180,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
