JPMorgan Chase Software Engineer in Seattle, Washington

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Design, develop and implement software solutions. Solve business problems through innovation and engineering practices. Involved in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including analyzing requirements, incorporating architectural standards into application design specifications, documenting application specifications, translating technical requirements into programmed application modules, and developing or enhancing software application modules. Identify or troubleshoot application code-related issues. Take active role in code reviews to ensure solutions are aligned to pre- defined architectural specifications. Assist with design reviews by recommending ways to incorporate requirements into designs and information or data flows. Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements and outline proposed solutions. Perform production support, including deploy, monitor, and analysis of incidents.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Consultant, or related occupation.

Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: develop software solutions for commercial real estate portfolio management; develop software solutions enabling credit risk view of commercial real estate; develop software solutions capturing property financials for commercial real estate loans; develop software solutions capturing credit risk policies for Multi-Family, Commercial, Fannie and Freddie Mac commercial real estate loans; develop software solutions capturing debt service coverage for commercial real estate loans; develop software on private cloud; develop microservice architecture software on Cloud Foundry; develop full stack software with JavaScript or Typescript; develop UI software with React or Angular framework; develop micro front-end UI components; develop software with Java and Java enterprise edition; develop software utilizing Spring and Spring Boot and Maven or Gradle to resolve application dependencies; develop software with Hibernate ORM; develop software that extract, transform, and load large datasets utilizing Spring Scheduler and Spring Batch; develop API design and development, including REST and event driven APIs; develop API contracts with Swagger; develop software with TDD (Test Driven Development); develop UI unit tests with Jasmine and middle tier with JUnit and Mockito; develop software utilizing JSON or XML formatted data files and service payloads for data transfer; develop Event driven software with RabbitMQ and Kafka; develop SQL database and relational database design with Oracle; develop and deploy with CI/CD processes; deploy software with Jenkins pipelines; develop automated Integration, performance and end to end tests; develop software access management with OAuth integration, RBAC, and Kerberos.

Full-Time. Salary: $156,000 - $185,000 per year.
