TITLE:                          Software Engineer

EMPLOYER:                 Stripe, Inc.

DUTIES:                       Develop software systems that detect merchants that are violating Stripe's Terms of Service and appropriate action those merchants; Scale said systems to accommodate Stripe's growth in user base and changing Terms of Services; Develop large scale data pipelines for managing merchant state and machine learning model evaluation data.

LOCATION:                  Seattle, WA (and various unanticipated work locations across the U.S.)

REQUIREMENTS:        Master's degree in Computer Science and 4 years of software development experience

Position requires the following:

2 years of experience in building scalable, high performance backend systems.

2 years of experience in helping engineers across the company to develop technologies for scaling our infrastructure.

2 years of experience with building REST based services.

2 years of experience with NoQSL databases like Apache Solr/Mongo DB.

1 year of experience with Machine Learning systems.

SALARY:                      $218,550.00-$228,550.00/year and standard employee benefits.
