Job Duties: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities. Support virtual environments that serve as development pipelines and infrastructure for mission critical applications and vendor products. Establish and implement best practices for monitoring, logging, alerting and configuration management to ensure systems are up-to-date, stable, and secure. Deploy cloud infrastructure environments from proof of conception to production. Design and deploy server imaging infrastructure and configuration management. Monitor and manage performance characteristics of application infrastructure. Test software and determine root-cause, troubleshoot bugs and issues. Create and deploy images for critical cloud-based applications. Manage business critical applications and services across a variety of environments and infrastructures. Utilize virtualization technologies in the design, deployment, maintenance, and scaling of software systems. Position may include additional duties that utilize the required skills. ˆ Above address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in the Seattle area: 744 N. 34th St. Seattle, WA 98103, 701 N. 34th St., Seattle, WA 98103, and 929 108th Ave, Bellevue, WA 98004. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in the Seattle area. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Minimum Requirements: Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or closely related quantitative discipline, and one (1) year of experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field.

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering).

Special Skill Requirements: (1) AWS; (2) Terraform; (3) IAM; (4) Kubernetes; (5) Java; (6) Git; (7) Linux; (8) Python; and (9) Docker. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Salary: $128,502.00 - $172,800.00 per annum.
