The Opportunity The Digital Video & Audio (DVA) team at Adobe develops industry-leading software products including Premiere Pro and After Effects. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to work on the development of our high-performance audio processing pipeline that forms the backbone of our web-based, cloud, and mobile audio and video applications. What You'll Do Work on architecting, coding, and productizing our new audio processing foundation for our next generation of DVA products Work on projects from prioritization and continued iteration to fulfill customer needs Work on ensuing the highest quality, performance, and scalability on an ongoing basis Stay updated on the latest industry developments, and actively share knowledge with the team Engage with research to productize AI-based audio features. What You Need to Succeed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent 10+ years' experience in Software Engineering with 5+ years working on high-performance audio applications Strong proficiency in modern C++ or JavaScript/TypeScript Excellent grasp of multi-threading concepts & algorithms Fundamental knowledge of modern audio device architectures and related interfaces (CoreAudio, DirectSound, etc.) Understanding, profiling, and tuning high-performance software Experience in developing high-performance audio processing and filters within a non-linear editing (NLE) video application or digital audio workstation (DAW) application is strongly preferred Strong inclination towards developing high-quality, user friendly, and efficient systems Excellent communication and collaboration skills, working in a global environment Ability to think creatively to solve complex problems Equal employment opportunity and affirmative action employer.
