Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced Sr Engineer to help design and implement features for Central Manager. Central Manager offers the most comprehensive solution for security and traffic management for apps spanning on-premises and multi-cloud architectures. This position provides technical opportunities that can make a significant impact on how our customers manage highly secure and performant applications.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a source of technical expertise to our System team
  • Work on technical design with design spec
  • Implement quality code, write e2e test cases, automate them in pipelines
  • Be a good team player, collaborate and mentor junior team members
  • Be an Advocate for Quality.

     

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
  • Understanding microservices based architecture and deployment.
  • Understanding of Kubernetes and Kubernetes-based architectures
  • Solid coding experience (Golang, React JS, Python Bash)
  • Brings the voice of the customer into the SDLC
  • Knowledge and extensive experience with network and web technologies.
  • Worked extensively on Management plane
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communications.
  • Has background working in Agile environments and with Agile methodologies.
 
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or equivalent experience.

The annual U.S. base pay range for this position is: $151,477.00 - $227,215.00

 

F5 maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, geographic locations, and market conditions, as well as to reflect F5s differing products, industries, and lines of business. The pay range referenced is as of the time of the job posting and is subject to change.
