Amazon Sr Manager, Product Management, Home & Lifestyle Innovation Team in Seattle, Washington

We are looking for a forward-thinking leader to oversee a product team responsible for building rich new experiences on our detail page and innovate on our Home & Lifestyle Storefront. We are seeking both an entrepreneur and an operator. You are responsible for the pre-purchase customer journey and metrics, and the forward-looking strategy for a complex set of products. You will work closely with senior leadership team, cross functional partners including product and tech partners to devise and execute a long-range strategic plans, (b) advocate for customer needs, (c) coach and mentor a top-talent team of product managers, (d) identify opportunities and prioritize the product roadmap in order to build systems and technology that scale cross category WW.

The role requires innovative thinking with a strong customer and quality balance. You will be excited to dive in and lead a diverse cross-functional priorities.

Some of your focus areas will include:

• Set strategic goals and priorities in a fast paced environment with a lot of ambiguity

• Set up programmatic plan to execute and deliver results across multiple partnership teams

• Consistently originate innovative ideas in order to maximize opportunities whilst balancing cost investments

• Effectively communicate to senior leadership and serve as an escalation point

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

  • 6+ years of team management experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with end to end product delivery

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience engaging and influencing senior executives

  • Proven track record of complex and creative problem-solving, and the desire to innovate

  • Passion for building technology that delivers outstanding customer experiences

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations and drive actions

  • Outstanding oral and written communication

  • Ability to work well with a variety of people ranging in various technical levels

  • Entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for having fun

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $160,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $265,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
