Sr.MicroStrategy Administrator
Location:Seattle, WA (Hybrid) - No Remote hiring
Responsibilities:
Capacity planning & monitoring,performance tuning for MicroStrategy infrastructure.
Defining and implementing the proceduresfor migration of MicroStrategy application and configuration objects fromQA to production.
Perform MicroStrategy security andadministration for all internal and external users including the creation/ modification of MicroStrategy roles, LDAP groups, and user interfaceportals.
Handle the implementation, testing, anddocumentation of new and updated MicroStrategy reporting/Configurationpackages to be moved into staging / production environment.
Implement patches and other day-to-dayMicroStrategy content administration tasks including creatingfolders/reports/users and migrating reports/folders/users from Dev to QAto Production.
Support all MicroStrategy configurationrequirements including working with DBAs to set up and test new datasources used by MicroStrategy, creating new MicroStrategy security roles,and setting up new user security and reporting interfaces for users.
Support developers by troubleshootingreporting issues related to MicroStrategy configurations and/orcubes/reports/dashboards.
Set up monitoring and alerts notificationsfor key performance indicators for the MicroStrategy infrastructure.
- Our team is looking to addsomeone who has experience migrating to MicroStrategy Cloud.
Required:
Hands on experience on Installation,configuration and deployment of MicroStrategy tool and clients.
Conversant with the tools in MicroStrategysuite e.g. Developer, Command Manager, Architect, Object Manager, LicenseManager
Experience in Capacity sizing/Planning ofMicroStrategy infrastructure components
Hands on experience on Linux/UNIXoperating systems.
Experience in SQL troubleshooting, reportfailures, project and Intelligence server level governing settings andtheir impacts.
Hands on experience on Report andDashboard development
Hands on experience on MicroStrategy SDKenvironment
Experience migrating to MicroStrategyCloud.
