Amazon Sr. Product Manager - Technical in Seattle, Washington

Key job responsibilities

We seek a Sr. Product Manager – Technical (PMT) to own the product vision and roadmap for a sales enablement tool that will help us recruit Brands that will delight our Amazon customers. You’ll work with a team of SDEs, Business Intelligence Engineers, Product Mangers, Sales Reps, and global stakeholders to formulate your roadmap and drive goals to identify Brands not currently selling on Amazon and increase efficiency in the Sales process. You'll use your analytical skills to measure, track, and ever improve impact; and you'll also work closely with our global business and tech partners worldwide to ensure the tool will scale effectively to meet the needs of Sales teams from every country around the globe.

Success in this role will be measured by your ability to (1) define and execute a tech & business roadmap that increases the quantity and quality of Selling Partners we launch on Amazon, (2) collaborate with various US and worldwide partner teams to scale your roadmap, (3) improve our processes and systems to reduce the effort required to operate the business, & (4) relentless obsession over our customer experience building measurable customer satisfaction, relevance, and trust with every release.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

  • Experience managing technical products or online services

  • Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

  • Proven track record of influencing stakeholders and gaining alignment on product vision

  • Ability to navigate and thrive in ambiguity

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA

  • Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

  • Strong analytic approach and bias for data-based judgment

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
