As part of a diverse and hardworking team of specialists and engineers, you will be a member of the Advanced Concepts & Engineering organization within Product Engineering team. You will directly support Blue Origin's success through support of initiatives to help deploy Design For "X" best practices including hardware and product manufacturability, maintainability & reliability. These efforts will include leading/facilitating training of Engineering & Manufacturing Tools Best Practices and supporting development of new DFX and/or Production Support related training content and/or process improvements. You will share in the team's impact on all aspects of development activities. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight. Special Mentions: Relocation provided Travel expected up to 15% of the time 1st Shift Role Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Serve as voice of the customer for Engineering & Manufacturing Tools & Process Training, considering student feedback to continuously improve course content Support transition of all DFx Team to new Learning System Manage "help desk" tickets to help teams troubleshoot & provide hands-on support to engineering users associated with Mfg & Engineering Training/Tools Create/maintain course scheduling & rostering Create & maintain training metrics Support future training roadmap including transition of all DFx Team training content to new learning system & Collaborate with HR training team to identify opportunities to standardize & transition "Basic Training" to new system Lead instructor led trainings in DFx Team owned content, including but not limited to DFx offerings, Jules training, Windchill training and any other offerings. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Equivalent field 10+ Years Engineering Experience in a Development and/or Production Environment Familiarity/Proficiency in Blue Origin's Engineering & Manufacturing Process & Tools Previous Experience with Technical Training, presenting to a wide variety of skill levels and demographics in a combination of the following areas: advanced technical training, programming, IT system design, architecture, operations, administration Skilled in project management & familiar with agile project management methodology Proven ability to communicate effectively and bring stakeholders from multiple sites into alignment for consistent delivery of training content Proven ability to drive complex projects to completion A continuous improvement mindset.
