Harborview - Food and Nutrition has an outstanding opportunity for a STOCKROOM ATTENDANT 2 .

WORK SCHEDULE

  • 100% FTE, Days

  • 5:00 am to 2:00 pm (schedule may be negotiable)

  • Mondays - Fridays POSITION HIGHLIGHTS

  • Receives, issues and maintains stores of food and supplies for patient and retail operations DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION

  • Reconciles invoice against delivery with vendors

  • Inspects food items for quality, notifying food production manager of discrepancies between ordered and received amounts and item substitutions.

  • Notes time and initials delivery slips for items received for department records

  • Stores food in proper location and assures that inventory is rotated.

  • Advises staff on questions regarding inventory in stock

  • Rearranges stock to accommodate inventory movement using hand dollies and pallet jacks

  • Periodically takes physical inventory

  • Maintains stockroom and performs custodial duties in stockroom areas

  • Follows department policies and procedures for food safety and sanitation

  • Complies with infection control policy and hand washing procedures REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

  • Six months of full-time experience as a Stockroom Attendant 1 OR equivalent education/experience.
