Blue Origin LLC Technical Project Manager III in Seattle, Washington

This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Facilities, and Security. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. As part of a hardworking team of diverse specialists, technicians, and engineers you will spearhead the integration of brand new production technologies within our company. The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to bring key production capabilities in-house, seamlessly integrate innovative technologies, and enhance our manufacturing autonomy. This role plays a crucial part in our mission to maintain technological leadership, strengthen supply chain resilience, and expedite the development and production of aerospace systems. Special Mentions Relocation provided Travel as needed First Shift Multiple positions available Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Roadmap Development - Contribute to the creation of a strategic roadmap for integrating advanced production technologies, in line with the company's overall objectives. Project Leadership - Lead cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and R&D, to achieve project achievements, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget. Technology Assessment - Identify, evaluate, and prioritize emerging production technologies critical to aerospace manufacturing, including additive manufacturing, advanced composites, automation, and precision machining. Collaborator Collaboration - Work closely with senior leaders, suppliers, and internal collaborators to foster agreement and promote the use of vertically integrated solutions. Risk Management - Proactively identify and minimize risks associated with integrating new technologies, addressing potential impacts on quality, cost, and delivery timelines. Process Optimization - Supervise the improvement and streamlining of manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, scalability, and quality throughout vertically integrated operations. Financial Management - Manage project budgets, monitor financial performance, and ensure alignment with overall business objectives and return on investment goals. Continuous Improvement - Promote a culture of continuous improvement by spearheading initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness, reduce cycle times, and increase manufacturing flexibility. Compliance and Standards - Ensure that all integrated production systems meet aerospace industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality benchmarks. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field. A master's degree or MBA is preferred. 7+ years of experience in project management within aerospace, manufacturing, or high-tech industries. Proven track record in managing large-scale projects involving the integration of advanced production technologies. Strong understanding of advanced manufacturing processes (aerospace, automotive, etc.), supply chain dynamics, and production technology trends. Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities. Demonstrated competence in financial matters and proven track record of successfully overseeing budgets in the millions. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar is highly desirable. Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a
