A Fortune 100 Tech Enterprise is seeking a talented and passionate User Experience Designer to join their team. Leveraging cutting-edge technology, the company aims to build innovative and intuitive web applications that empower retailers and manufacturers to manage their multichannel ecommerce business seamlessly. This role presents an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual with a strong background in user experience design.

Location: Seattle, WA (hybrid onsite 3 days/week)

Duration: 11-month contract

Pay Rate: $45-50/hour

Responsibilities:

• Quickly yet thoroughly create process flows, wireframes, and visual design mockups to effectively communicate interaction behaviors.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define business and feature requirements based on empirical data, usability findings, and market research.

• Assess and optimize the performance of new and existing features through usability testing and analytics interpretation.

• Present design work to the user experience team, product team, and executive stakeholders for feedback.

• Contribute to user interface design best practices and standards.

• Provide leadership in ecommerce trends, web application design, and user interface innovations.

• Bring 3-6 years of industry experience in providing interaction design solutions for web and/or software applications.

• Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience.

• Demonstrate fluency in best practices for web-based information architecture and design, as well as a strong knowledge of usability principles and techniques.

• Showcase proficiency in a variety of design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver.

Qualifications:

• Possess excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills.

• Exhibit qualities of a self-starter who is detail-oriented and enthusiastic about collaboration.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with highly technical teams.

• Proficiency in prototyping using HTML, JavaScript, and CSS is highly desired.
