Additional Compensation Details: $28.00/hour Dependent on Experience and Location of Role Potential 90-day performance-based raise Yearly review with possibility of increase based on performance and tenure Responsibilities Schedule 6:00pm - 2:30am Job Summary This role requires intermediate supervisory, training, and interpersonal skills. The right candidate will also have strong self-management capabilty, experience scheduling personnel, and the ability to direct a warehouse crew. This person will be responsible for warehouse inventory, order accuracy, customer service, productivity levels, and reporting facility and eqipment maintenance as needed. Coordinatation of warehouse activities under the direction of the Shipping Warehouse Supervisor. Responsible for training personnel to ensure a well-coordinated shift. This position will require intermediate knowledge of Charlie's operations and customer procedures along with maintaining an understanding of all the job requirements of the employees they supervise. Essential Functions Responsible for safe and efficient warehouse operations while fostering a positive work environment, in accordance with regulatory agency requirements. Directs day-to-day activities of the shipping department. Such activities include staffing needs, shipping procedures, and might have some shared duties with receiving, sanitation, maintenance, inventory control, and other departments as needed. Understands and provides direction on warehouse and inventory control procedures in accordance with company policy. Generates warehouse productivity reports (i.e. piece count report), regarding order pick rates and accounts for all labor hours, both direct and indirect. Responsible for following and enforcing warehouse safety programs to provide a safe and clean workplace for employees and within the regulations of OSHA local and state regulations. Effectively communicates with fellow supervisors, other employees, and managers. Additional responsibilities as directed by management. Qualifications Required Skills Must have proven leadership ability or experience with effective communication skills. Must have at least 2+ years of previous experience in a warehouse role. Must have fundamental abilities using WMS and MS Office programs. Competent in human relations while dealing with internal and external customers. Proven work history and ability to manage in a dynamic and high paced environment while taking the lead and making decisions as necessary to achieve the results expected. Proven dependability and follow through in regard to job duties and interdepartmental relationships.
