The Role ...


We seek an experienced Senior Programmer Analyst with expertise in TM1 to join our Information Technology team. In this role, you will deliver technical solutions that meet business requirements using all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including requirements gathering, modeling and design, development, testing, deployment, integration, and documentation while providing that information in an accurate and flexible analytical format so that the business can make swift and informed decisions.


Essential to this role is possessing a high level of expertise in TM1 Planning Analytics Advanced Local version 2.0.9.17, Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW), and Planning Analytics for Excel (PAfE). This position is located at our Secaucus, NJ office, and has the flexibility to work a hybrid schedule.


Your Responsibilities ...


IBM TM1

  • Design and architect solutions using IBM Planning Analytics Advanced Local version 2.0.9.17, with a focus on Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW) development and integration
  • Develop Multidimensional TM1 Cubes, Views, Dimensions, Active Forms, Turbo Integrator Processes, Complex Rules, Feeders, Drill-through and TM1Chores
  • Write batch scripts, shell scripts, and TI processes to automate the Schedules, Cognos TM1 Services restart and Data uploads and publishing Views, Active Forms in Applications to TM1 Web, creating Replications as needed
  • Develop TM1 rules, feeders, and Turbo Integrator processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, then align TM1 capabilities to meet those needs by developing custom applications and modules
  • Provide TM1 development techniques, as well as expertise and guidance on TM1 best practices, performance optimization, and troubleshooting
  • Stay abreast on TM1 and PAW updates, enhancements, and new features to drive continuous improvement

General

  • Implement major projects as approved and scheduled that support and align with the approved Business Plan. Deliver reliable, scalable, and efficient business solutions by supporting all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, modeling and design, development, testing, deployment, integration, and documentation

o Identifying and analyzing business needs, conducting requirements gathering, and defining scope and objectives for the project culminating in an approved Solution Design Document

o Develop programming specifications, diagrams, and flowcharts

o Build/construct the solution which includes configuration/setup, processes, and programs

o Create functional and technical documentation

o Production implementation

o Provide end-user liaison/support

  • Production Support and Maintenance

o 24/7 application availability

o Night batch Support

o Troubleshoot application issues & resolution

o Application software upgrades when required

o Archive & purge (application performance)

o Comprehensive technical support documentation

o Application development cross-functional team training (supporting Oracle EBS, third-party integrated software, EDI)

  • User Service Requests

o General knowledge transfer, subject matter expertise, and business process support

o Application setup and configuration changes

o Ad-hoc report requests in support of audits, analytics, comparison, etc.

Requirements

You'll Need ...

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and specialized training
  • IBM TM1
    • Minimum of 5+ years' experience in the TM1 design, architecture, and development of solutions with proven experience in Corporate Performance Management, Financial Planning, Forecasting, Supply Chain, and Business Analytics solutions
    • Experience in implementing dynamic security at all levels of TM1 objects
    • Expert level proficiency with IBM TM1 surrounding Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW) and Planning Analytics Excel (PAX) including:
      • Developing TM1 models, cubes, dimensions, rules, feeders (ETL), drill-through, active forms, chores, scheduling, and Turbo Integrator processes
      • Writing batch scripts, shell scripts and TI processes to automate the schedules, Cognos TM1 services restart and data uploads and publishing views, active forms in applications to TM1 web, creating replications as needed
      • TM1 interactive user-friendly dashboards and reports
      • TM1 architecture & platform
      • TM1 web
      • TM1 server maintenance and administration
    • Develop and maintain technical documentation
    • Oracle Database Experience (19.12)
    • SQL, PL/SQL, SQLPlus, SQLLoader, Toad, CRON, FTP
    • Linux & Power Shell scripting, Windows services, web server management
  • Project management skills (MS Project, PowerPoint presentations)
  • Strong background in finance
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks or projects simultaneously with moderate complexity

  • IBM TM1 Planning Analytics Developer Certification
  • PMI Certification
  • Web (intranet/extranet) Full Stack development experience

- MS Visual Studio, Visual Basic C#, CMS, MS Access

- HTML, JavaScript, XML, CSS styles, IIS, jQuery, Ajax

- Web server management, Windows services

  • Quebit Report WORQ software experience
  • Oracle E-Business Suite experience (12.2.10 or higher) in Financials & Supply Chain Management
  • Oracle Unified Method (OUM) experience
  • Manhattan Scale MS System experience (2023)
  • EDI production support experience
