ZT Group Int’l, Inc. d/b/a ZT Systems seeks a Staff Customer Quality Engineer in Secaucus, NJ.Duties: Work with customers to clearly define factory-build report expectations including frequency of reports, expected data, and response to first past yield excursions. Interface with key customers to assure customer satisfaction and review requirements to meet customer specifications. Work with the internal technical organizations and teams (such as design, assembly, and product testing) to ensure high-quality products are achieved from product release. Successfully drive resolution of customer issues. Manage quality issue diagnosis, root-cause determination, and the implementation of corrective and preventive actions with the appropriate team(s). Review failure analysis and corrective action reports through well managed customer-facing communications. Serve as an advocate for the customer through excellent knowledge of ZT manufacturing process, timely follow-through, and customer focus.The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field of study, plus 5 years of experience as an Engineer, Quality Engineer, Procurement Executive, Production Engineer, or related occupation.Requires 5 years of experience with:• Project Planning and project management;• Statistics and analytical principles, including factory versus field performance, warranty analysis, and multiple customer analytics based on field performance;• Reporting and analysis tools including Excel and Minitab for statistical/warranty analysis or business partner defining visualization expectations in programs like Tableau;• Database or reporting systems including understanding of SQL queries and Tableau/Power BI to partner with data engineers; and• Data diagnostics and analysis of large volumes of data.In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field of study, plus 5 years of experience as an Engineer, Quality Engineer, Procurement Executive, Production Engineer, or related occupation, the employer will accept a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field of study, plus 3 years of experience as an Engineer, Quality Engineer, Procurement Executive, Production Engineer, or related occupation.Requires 3 years of experience with:• Project Planning and project management;• Statistics and analytical principles, including factory versus field performance, warranty analysis, and multiple customer analytics based on field performance;• Reporting and analysis tools including Excel and Minitab for statistical/warranty analysis or business partner defining visualization expectations in programs like Tableau;• Database or reporting systems including understanding of SQL queries and Tableau/Power BI to partner with data engineers; and• Data diagnostics and analysis of large volumes of data.40 hours/week, $124,030.00 - $155,000.00 per year.
