Job Title: Estimator
Job Description
Seeking an Estimator with 5+ years in Construction Estimation, ideally with 1+ year in Restoration. If no restoration experience, candidates from a general contractor that self-performs are also considered. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for estimating complex self-performed construction projects, including concrete repair, masonry restoration, waterproofing, and structural strengthening.
Responsibilities
Prepare estimates by calculating various statistical data such as quantity take-offs, material price lists, labor costs per man-hour, and equipment costs.
Define and quantify the scope of work and prepare comprehensive conceptual, budgetary, and construction cost estimates for projects.
Review and research historical data, compiling summary reports to develop guidelines and precedence for future estimates.
Maintain involvement in uncovering sales opportunities with prospective and existing customers.
Essential Skills
5-12 years of construction estimating experience, ideally in a related industry involving concrete repair projects.
Demonstrated ability to work with a team to estimate projects of moderate complexity up to $10 Million.
Prior experience estimating up to 5 projects directly and mentoring up to 5 estimates indirectly.
Ability to evaluate, quantify, and capture specification requirements within the estimate.
Experience working with terms & conditions in construction contracts.
Strong understanding of the greater Colorado construction market, including current market prices and clients.
Previous experience maintaining client relationships while performing light business development.
Demonstrated construction math and computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and construction estimating software.
Ability to read blueprints.
Ability to travel 10-20%.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Construction Management may be given preference.

Projects are primarily commercial, with openness to multifamily and industrial projects. Residential, nuclear, and refinery projects are not considered. The company values a good attitude and positive focus. They mostly do restoration but may also engage in mitigation by installing materials/equipment to help keep structures from deteriorating
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $100000.00
Salary Range: $90-100K (commensurate upon experience)We offer competitive compensation and benefits including medical and dental insurance, 401(k), paid holidays, vacation, tuition reimbursement, career development and growth opportunities, and a caring work environment.Will consider relocation for out of state candidates. All expense paid per diem for anything outside of certain mileage.
